Aging with Intention is an immersive wellness exploration for women who wish to embrace aging as a joyful, compassionate, and empowering journey. This program focuses on deepening self-awareness, resilience, and kindness, with practical tools to nurture both mind and body through every stage of life. The program is inspired by the methods of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) and will include opportunities to:

Deepen Self-Awareness: Cultivate mindfulness practices, including meditation for calm and clarity, to better understand personal needs, emotions, and values as they evolve through life stages.

Enhance Resilience: Develop skills to navigate life’s challenges with strength and flexibility through practices like yoga for strength and energy, inspired by MBSR and CCT principles.

Build Community Connection: Engage in meaningful dialogue, group activities, and shared experiences to foster a supportive and inspiring community of women.

Foster Compassion: Learn to extend kindness and empathy toward oneself and others through guided compassion exercises and reflective practices.

Nurture Mind and Body: Explore practical tools to support well-being, including self-care massage techniques, mindful nutrition strategies, and restorative yoga sessions.

Empower Personal Growth: Embrace aging as an opportunity for growth and transformation through journaling, intention-setting, and mindfulness exercises.

If you are seeking a deeper community of mindfulness practice, this year long program may be for you. Through evidence-informed teachings and ancient wisdom, simple and powerful practices, and community conversations, Aging with Intention will offer a supportive space for cultivating wisdom, self-compassion, and connections with other women who share your commitment to growing older gracefully and fully alive.

Unlike our general meditation and yoga groups, this program will focus specifically on essential topics for women interested in embracing the changes of aging, including ways of accessing greater physical and mental health (through guided practices that support self-care, self-reflection and community) during the hormonal and other shifts that come as we age.
