The great sages have long said that wisdom (which arises from mindfulness practice) and compassion are like the two wings of a bird. In other words, they work together to help steer and steady us as we fly through this life! Compassion Cultivation Training is an 8-week contemplative education program that brings together meditative practices, experiential exercises, group discussion and reflections on the science of compassion to form a powerful framework for accessing and strengthening our innate capacity for compassion. CCT was designed at Stanford University by Tibetan scholar and meditation teacher, Thubten Jinpa and colleagues. To experience the greatest benefits, it's helpful to attend all or most of the 8 sessions. In CCT you will learn:

- what compassion is and is not
- how compassion differs from empathy and sympathy
- how to strengthen compassion through meditative practice
- how compassion supports resilience
- how compassion can help you access joy and balance
- how the practice can help you relate more positively to people in your life, including you!
- and so much more...

The group size will be between 10 and 20 participants.
