Roots and Rivers
$360.00
A Mindfulness–Practice–Healing–Action (MPHA) Program for young people (ages 20s–early 30s) with Éowyn Ahlstrom, Middle Path Healing Arts (MPHA)
Roots & Rivers offers a 12-week journey inviting young adults to cultivate inner steadiness, develop embodied presence, and find meaningful pathways through the complexity of early adulthood. Drawing from Insight/Vipassana traditions, classical yoga, compassion-driven practices (CCT), the empirically supported structure of MBSR, and contemporary resilience science, this program supports participants in meeting uncertainty with curiosity and care.
The metaphor of Roots → Rivers → Ocean shapes the arc:
- ROOTS (Weeks 1–4): We learn to arrive within ourselves, establish presence, and nurture compassion at the level of the body, breath, and heart.
- RIVERS (Weeks 5–9): From this inner ground, compassion flows outward into relationship, community, vocation, direction, and the shared work of tending grief.
- OCEAN (Weeks 10–12): We integrate our learning into daily life, deepen continuity through relationship and community, and open into a wider field of belonging and purpose.
This program emphasizes experiential practice, reflection, and shared learning. Participants cultivate personal agency, embodied wisdom, and tangible tools for emotional resilience — carried forward into their families, workplaces, and communities.
